1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by J’s Wrap Lab (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking services, submitting a deposit, or leaving a vehicle in our possession, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

We provide automotive cosmetic services, including but not limited to vinyl wrapping, tint installation, chrome delete, wheel cosmetics, decal installation, lighting services, and wrap removals (“Services”).
We may perform minor prep work such as repairing small areas of peeling paint, rust, scratches, or surface defects, but we are not certified body repair technicians, and such work is provided strictly as a convenience, without guarantee or certification.

3. QUOTES AND PRICING

All quotes are estimates, not guarantees. Final pricing may change based on:

  • Actual vehicle condition

  • Additional prep work required

  • Color/material changes

  • Complexity of installation

  • Labor required

Any necessary adjustments will be communicated to the Client whenever possible.

4. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.

  • No cancellations will receive a refund on deposits.

  • Deposits apply toward the final invoice.

  • Remaining balance is due in full prior to release of the vehicle.

Failure to pay may result in refusal of future services.

5. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

  • All cancellations result in forfeiture of the deposit regardless of notice given.

  • Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

  • No-call/no-show appointments automatically lose the deposit.

6. VEHICLE CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

Client is responsible for delivering the vehicle:

  • Clean (no wax or heavy dirt)

  • Free of excessive debris

  • In stable paint condition

We are not liable for vinyl adhesion issues caused by:

  • Peeling, chipping, oxidized, or failing paint

  • Rusted surfaces

  • Structural or body damage

We will notify you of visible concerns, but underlying conditions may not be apparent until installation begins.

7. DOOR JAMBS, INNER PANELS & NON-VISIBLE AREAS

Door jambs, inner panels, under-hood areas, trunk wells, and all interior edges are not included in standard wrap services.
These areas will only be wrapped if the Client specifically requests and agrees to additional pricing.

8. MATERIALS, COLORS & VARIANCES

Client acknowledges that:

  • Colors may vary between digital displays, swatches, and installed film.

  • Vinyl batches may differ slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer.

  • Certain finishes (chrome, satin, brushed, textured) have natural limitations.

We are not responsible for manufacturer variations.

9. INSTALLATION LIMITATIONS

Vinyl wrap is a cosmetic enhancement with known limits. You understand that:

  • Minor seams, relief cuts, or stretch marks may be visible

  • Some edges cannot be perfectly hidden

  • Deep curves or complex body lines may require overlapping material

  • Vinyl may lift prematurely on poor paint or in harsh conditions

These are normal characteristics of vinyl applications.

10. WARRANTY ON LABOR

We provide a 2-year limited labor warranty, covering installation defects such as:

  • Major lifting

  • Significant peeling

  • Large persistent bubbles (not resulting from client care issues)

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from car washes, brushes, pressure washers

  • Impact damage, collisions, or road debris

  • Sun exposure, salt, or weather-related wear

  • Poor paint adhesion

  • Damage caused by improper client care

  • Issues arising from aftermarket parts added after installation

  • Natural aging of the vinyl material

Material warranty is determined solely by the vinyl manufacturer.

11. WRAP REMOVAL

Removal may cause paint lifting or surface damage, particularly on:

  • Repainted panels

  • Older vehicles

  • Areas with failing clear coat

Client assumes full risk. No guarantees are made for paint condition after removal.

12. CARE & MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

Client agrees to follow proper maintenance, including:

  • Hand wash only (no brushes)

  • No abrasive chemicals or scrubbers

  • Avoid pressure washers near edges

  • Avoid picking or tugging vinyl

  • Immediately drying edges after washing

Failure to follow these guidelines voids all warranties.

13. STORAGE POLICY

We do not charge storage fees. However, we expect timely pickup once the vehicle is completed. Excessive delays may affect future service eligibility.

14. PERSONAL PROPERTY

We are not responsible for:

  • Loss or theft of personal belongings left inside the vehicle

  • Mechanical or electrical failures unrelated to our services

Please remove valuables before drop-off.

15. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT

By receiving services, you grant J’s Wrap Lab permission to photograph and record your vehicle for marketing purposes. License plates may be blurred upon request.

16. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.

  • We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in Kane County, Illinois.
The prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

18. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

19. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
